• What makes you different from other local wedding officiants? Why should someone hire you? I work with you to customize your ceremony. I am skilled at creating a ceremony that suits your spiritual needs without offending your family..

• What is your customer satisfication cancellation policy? I do not accept the initial retainer until after our consultation, and you are satisfied with my services..

• What are your standard payment terms? $60 retainer at consultation $160 at rehearsal, or $100 at ceremony Additional accesories are available for purchase or rental, see my web site for details. .

• How long after the ceremony do you file for the official marriage license? I will file Wake County, NC licenses within 10 business days. Couple with licenses from other counties must file their own licenses..

• What kind of pre-wedding counseling is required, if any? At our consultation, I will go over the COuples Questionnaire with you. I want to make sure this is not a frivilous decision, or one that is being made under pressure from your families..

• How many wedding do you officiate a year? Looking at my current schedule, I will like officiate about 40 weddigns this year..

• How far are you willing to travel? Is there a travel fee? I will travel 30 miles for no additional fee. I charge a 50 cent/mile mileage fee past that distance from my home base in Raleigh..

• What is your event cancellation policy? You pay a retainer at your consultation to secure the date. If you cancel your event after our consultation, but more than 60 days prior to your retained date, there is no fee. Otherwise, there is a $60 charge..

• Do you normally attend the reception? Only if invited. I am happy to make a meal blessing for you if you wish..

• How long does the ceremony usually last? 15-30 minutes, dependingon music, readings and other options..

• Will you marry couples of different faiths or previous divorce? Yes. Often I marry couples who have one spiritual partner, and one non-religious partner..

• What documents do I need to bring to our first meeting? Please download the Couples Questionnaire from my web site and answer the questions before our meeting. Also print out the contract and ceremony options worksheet. We'll go over those at the meeting..

• In which states and communities are you licensed to officiate ceremonies? I am an ordained minister, so I can officiate a legal wedding in any State which recognizes my license, including North Carolina..

• Can we read or hear your ceremony before our wedding day? You will choose every word at our consultation! In the FAQ's on my web site, I have a link to a basic civil ceremony..

• Will you allow us to write our own vows? Absolutely! And if you're afraid you'll forget them, I can feed them to you line by line ;-).
